BIO:
Nicole is a San Francisco based writer, producer and filmmaker. Nicole has over twenty years experience in the creative, film/media and theater realm from solo performance, new media production, film acting, screenplay writing, directing and stand-up comedy.
Nicole wrote and performed her full length solo show, Forgetting The Details, under the direction of Paul Stein at Comedy Central Theater. As a writer/filmmaker, Nicole premiered her comedy pilots and short films at the Asian American International Film Festival in New York City, CAAMfest in San Francisco, DisOriented in Portland Oregon, New Filmmakers in New York, Dances with Film in Los Angeles and the DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival . As a stand-up comic, she has opened for comedy geniuses Dave Chappelle, Hasan Minaj and Jo Koy.
Nicole is currently writing her first feature film about her uncle, Patrick Salaver, a 1960's Civil Rights Student Activist and core member of the Third World Liberation Front at SF State. Her screenplay has gotten to the 2nd round of the Sundance Institute Feature Film Program. She is the host of newly launching podcast, Cultural Kultivators, and is also proud to support FilAm/Filipinx artists as the Program Manager at Balay Kreative.
