Host A Workshop At Balay Kreative

 

Thank you for your interest in hosting your workshop with us!

We welcome all forms of creativity and are excited to use our platform to support your craft. In order to proceed with workshop planning, we require a written proposal and marketing materials in order for us to administer your workshop on our website, conduct a marketing campaign, and staff your workshop.


ALL WORKSHOP POLICIES


Workshop Selection 

  • Workshops are accepted on a first come, first served basis. 

Ticketing Breakdown 

  • The ticketing breakdown for workshop hosts and Balay is a 50/50 split.

  •  For resident artists, the ticketing breakdown is 70 (artists)/30 (Balay) 

  • Please note that all supplies and materials must be supplied by the workshop instructor and NOT Balay when determining the price of your tickets

 Staffing

  •  A Balay Kreative staff member must be present during your workshop.
     

Workshop Timelines 

  • Proposals must be submitted and approved AT LEAST 5 weeks before your proposed workshop dates in order for our team to conduct a proper marketing campaign.

 Attendance Requirements 

  • You must have at least 5 attendees at least 24 hours before your workshop or it will be subject to cancellation.

 Post Workshop Invoices 

  • After you complete a post workshop debrief survey, our team will reach out with a ticketing break down of how much you made/how much we owe you.

  •  In order to receive your cut, please send an invoice to our accounting team (kultivatelabsteam@scrubbed.net) and CC our team member (desi@kultivatelabs.org).

Workshop Proposals

In order to host your workshop, we require a proposal containing the following logistics information and your unique workshop needs in order to be approved by our team. 

What to Include in your Proposal:

  • Your Workshop Title Description 

  • Include if it is in-person OR virtual

  • A short version of your description if you have a lengthy one. 

  • Three Proposed Dates on either Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Friday evenings.

  • Ticket Price (Please note that workshop supplies will be provided by instructors NOT Balay when deciding on a ticket price.)

  • Maximum Number of Participants (Our maximum indoor capacity for attendees is 16)

  • Any Specific Details or notes that you would like to communicate to attendees (Examples include supplies that people need to bring themselves.)
